Meet In Ver.0 Walkthrough

Meet In Ver.0The famous author of the Grow series is back with a new game after a prolonged sickness (I'm glad to see he's feeling better!). The new game, Meet In, is like his other puzzle games, but also unlike them. It's cute, short and fun, but definitely has the same feeling to it as his other games.

For a complete walkthrough, look below, but in the meantime, go play!

Play Meet In Ver.0 at eyezmaze.

Walkthrough

In the first box, I'm going to label this one dad. The second box (top right) is going to be mom. The bottom left is baby and the bottom right is kid.

Move the baby onto the blue button. Mom is now free to move down into the hedge maze. Move her onto the button at the bottom of the maze.

Switch to dad and move him onto the moving platform that mom just engaged (just head south in the hedge maze). Move the baby onto the other button on it's screen to move dad to the other side.

Move dad to the right and sit on the bottom of the two buttons to change the stone maze the kid is in. Keep switching the stone maze back and forth and moving the kid around until he is free and in the upper left corner. Move the kid up until he steps on the orange button to remove the orange square for dad to pass through.

Dad can step on the green button to remove the green obstruction from the kids way. Have the kid step on the purple button to remove the purple block from the baby's way.

Dad, kid and baby can now enter the room with MEET on the floor. Place each of them on their respective color to allow mom to enter as well. Switch to mom and bring her in and put her on the final T. You Win!

The Life Ark

The Life ArkA point and click adventure, the Life Ark puts you in charge of developing life on a planet. Develop life through fire, water, alien life forms and big old teapots.

Like Grow, Warbears and Sprout, the objective is to click on the right things in the right order. The actions will take place automatically and you will soon have a green and lush forest along with all the animals (two by two) on your planet to enjoy. But if you click on them in the wrong order, your trees will die off, your little helpers (men) will pass out from the heat, and basically you'll just have to reset and start over.

That is, unless, you were willing to use the walkthrough below.

Play the Life Ark at freeworldgroup.

Walkthrough

The Life ArkClick on the tablet (in the middle of the ground). Choose the right symbol. Note the small circles or triangles or spots or whatever it appears to be that move around the card as you move from card to card. Just complete the pattern. An outlet appears where the tablet was.

Click on the cord hanging from the cloud to get it to start moving. When it's over the outlet, click on the cord again. Click on the outlet. When the cloud gets charged up (turns black), click on the plug to release it.

Click on the cord again to move the cloud over the rock in the volcano. Click on the rock. Click on the door in the mountain. Hit the button in the center until both disks have the fire at the top.

Click on the fire (left side of volcano). The cloud may have floated around. Move it over the mountain again. Click on the steam clouds (circles) floating up.

After the cloud absorbs enough water (turns dark gray), move the cloud out over the pond. Click on the pond to dump some water.

Click on the trees to get an apple to fall. Click on the cave. Click on the apple to get the man to eat it (apple of knowledge). Click on the man (his head) to turn it into an radio signal.

When the spaceship arrives, click on the cave again. Click on the river to get the new man to move the water over to the plant to help it grow. Click on the plant to climb up and get the blue gem.

Click on the fire to change the teapot into another UFO. Click on the picture of the UFO. Click on the read teapot, then on the hatch on the boat. Solve the puzzle (similar to the first one).

Success!

Warlords: Call to Arms

Warlords Call to ArmsWarlords is a strategy war game that just isn't all that strategic. Build your army one guy at a time and send him across the board. The bigger your guy is, the longer it takes for him to be sent. The number of men (or demons or elves or ...) you can build is very impressive.

Unfortunately, as I already said, this game isn't that hard to beat. Here's how to do it in 4 steps

1) Always choose the hardest level to beat. While it may make sense to beat the easier levels first, it actually makes it harder in the long run as the difficulty increases with each level. Buying upgrades is nice, but not key to winning.

2) Set your options to auto release. Either that or get used to holding the space bar down.

3) Send 95% of your guys along one row (as you can see from the picture).

4) Select charge when you can.

And that's it. You'll beat every level by overwhelming that one row of attackers. The only exception is when you face off against the troll giants, as they can stomp right along that one row. In that level, just send your speediest guys along every row (in other words, spread out your attack).

By beating the harder levels first, you'll have an easier time completing the game at the end.

I had fun playing this game, it's too bad I figured out such an easy way to beat it. Playing as the demons isn't all that different from playing with any other race, so I'm not sure how much of a
reward they are.

Trapped - Walkthrough

Trapped is another in a long line of 'help, I've woken up and I don't know where I am click your way to freedom puzzle games'. This one is a little different though. With an actual plot and a switch at the end into a shooter (although it's very easy to shoot your way out), this one is a little better than most.

This time, you've woken up in a bathroom, the door's locked, and you don't know how to get out.

Spoiler alert!

Walkthrough follows!

Turn up the volume (if you have it turned off, a lot of the story will be lost on you).

Turn on the light. Pick up the stocking on the sink. Turn right and pick up the bible (surprisingly, you remember that you aren't a christian, although you still don't know your name). You can read the instructions on the wall and take a look at yourself in the mirror.

Turn back and look down to get the wallet. Take the fake finger out of the wallet.

Turn to the toilet, click on the matchbook (matches will fall to the floor). Look down to pick up the matches under the toilet.

Click on the nail over the poster to see the safe.

Click on the matches then the matchbook. Light the match, then 'close' the matchbook. Click on the finger and then light it on fire with the lit match. An object will be revealed that you can use to pick the lock (not the door to the balcony).

Open the door. Click on the stocking to cover your face.

Talk to the guy with the gun. Tell him you have everything under control.

Close the door, then click on the drawer to get the screwdriver. Look to your left. Click on the vent to look in.

Turn left again. Free the housekeeper. Talk to her (click on the face up above in your inventory). Keep talking to her until everything has been said.

Go back to the bed and unscrew the bracket holding it to the wall. Go back to the housekeeper and ask her to help you move the bed. Get the key from above the bookcase.

Go back into the bathroom. (Forget something?) Click on the door back in to the room (He'll refuse to go). Turn to the balcony door and use the key to get out.

You'll get shot at this point. Click on the guy who shot you to change into his clothes. Click on the rope to go down. Kill the snipers.

Top 10 Most Popular Games

Over the past 30 days, this site has had a lot of traffic because of the following games. What's your favorite game?

1.
Escape From Rhetundo Island
2. Smart Stick Adventure 2 1/2
3. Hapland 3
4. Parking Perfection 2
5. Super Mario Bros
6. Orbox B
7. Jungle Gin
8. Wogger
9. Chronon
10. Online Adventures

Hapland 3 and its mate, Escape from Rhetundo Island, caused quite a stir when they were released, and I received quite a bit of traffic after posting walkthroughs. The same goes for Chronon, so I owe a thank you to foon and eyezmaze for creating those great games . Smart Stick Adv 2 1/2 (I believe) receives a lot of traffic as an indirect result. Wogger has a full walkthrough posted as well, and so, again, I'm not surprised to see it near the top despite being so new (I also have a link to the walkthrough at digg, so that helps).

Parking Perfection 2 was quite a surprise to me. It was one of the first games I got a lot of hits for reviewing, and I almost didn't do it. It just wasn't one of my favorites, but I got addicted to it despite my frustration. So...

Super Mario Bros is a classic and I've posted many tips for those who get frustrated at Orbox, so I suppose it's no surprise to see them in the top 10.

Online Adventures is my summary for puzzle pirates and Runescape. Both are great games and both receive a lot of attention (Runescape in particular) in the online world.

Wogger

Wogger is similar to Samarost or Samarost 2, you need to point and click your way through the adventure. Most of the time you will spend looking for the next place to click. But, if you liked Samarost, you will like Woggers.

My thanks go to jayisgames for pointing this gem out.

Your objective (although it's not clear at the beginning, just keep going and it will be) is to make a nice little home for the little red guy. He'll need some grass to sit on, fresh water and a nice light.

Hint: If you get really stuck and just want to skip ahead, right click and hit play.

I'll try to post a walkthrough in the comments section.

Blast Off

Blast off is another puzzle game in which you need to click on things in the right order to win the game. This time, you're trying to launch the space ship, but everything seems to be out of place.

I don't think it's too hard to figure this one out, but the faster you do it, the better your score. I'll post a walkthrough in the comments section in case you get stuck.

Play Blast Off at mousebreaker.

Mind Your Manor

Mind Your Manor is similar to Grow at eyezmaze in you need to click on each object in the right order to finish the game.

The graphics aren't as good, but I like the time limit plus 'levels' or 'chapters' you need to complete at each stop. Not that the story makes all that much sense. The order you need to click on things is a little more intuitive.

The Mind Your Manor walkthrough is located in the comments section.

Grow ver2.

Grow ver2 has been released over at eyezmaze. Check it out! If you liked any of the other grow games(Grow Cube, Grow ornament, etc...), you'll enjoy this 'mini' grow.

As with the other grow games, pick each item in the correct in order to maximize their potential. This one is rather non-intuitive, so I'll put a walkthrough in the comments section.

It looks like ver2. was a test version or something as the other grows are more colorful, complicated and fun.

Chronon

From the makers of grow cube, grow ornament, hatch, etc... comes Chronon. This is another click and explore game.

As with Grow and hatch, you want to click on items in a certain order. Your job is free the little yellow guy trapped in the cage from the big monster who walks off stage at the beginning of the day. Move back and forth across time (chronon... get it?) by clicking on the times up above and then manipulate the objects before the big guy gets back.

If you're looking for a walkthrough, help, hints, etc... you can look for it in the comments. When I figure it out this game, I'll leave a walkthrough there.

Warbears

Warbears is an puzzle adventure. You are in control of the warbears, and its your job to protect this sleepy town from some of the dumbest criminals with high tech weaponry and machinery I've ever seen. The bank is being robbed, the police have tried nothing and it didn't work! So get in there and rescue those hostages.

The puzzles are basic (repeat the colors simon style, get all the lights to light up, hit the middle of the target, etc...), but the order of events can be difficult to figure out. If you want to see a Warbears walkthrough, I found one at Kahsoon.

The puzzles are simple, but the story is just plain fun. The criminals are very dumb, so they aren't hard to beat.

Hapland 3

Hapland 3 is now out. I haven't had a chance yet to play it through, but if you're interested, you should check it out now.

I had a previous post here about hapland 3, escape from rhetundo island, but that wasn't really hapland 3, although I saw it called that in several places. Thanks to Sarah for letting me know that the real Hapland 3 is out.

If you're looking for games like hapland, I've listed several games similar to hapland.

Play Hapland 3 at foon.co.uk.

Update: I've posted a complete walkthrough for Hapland 3 in the comments below. Even knowing what to do, this game can be very hard.

I would try to figure it out yourself first, though!

The Bar

The Bar is a really nice looking point and click escape the room game (excuse me, escape the bar). There are several non-logical points in this game, that make it just about impossible to do without a walkthrough, but don't worry, I found one for you.

You wake up in the bar (you own it, but why are you sleeping in it, and more importantly, how did you get locked into your own bar?). This is the night you had a rendezvous with your mysterious lover from the past, but she hasn't shown.

Again, there are some points in this game that are completely illogical. With time and a lot of clicking, you should be able to find all the items you need. But how you use them is a problem. But it looks nice and is rather puzzling.

Play The Bar at gotmail.jp.

BTW, I saw that jayisgames.com also has a review and discussion of the bar, but I didn't spot it there first.

Koala Kombat

Koala Kombat is a cute first person shooter. The story is in dutch (I think?), so who knows what the story is about. It looks like a jail break, but I can't be sure. I'm pretty sure your main target is the koala in the jail suit and that you (the shooter) are a koala, as well.

Blast the Koala (or the giraffer or whatever) as they cross the screen (left mouse button to fire, aim with the mouse). If they pull out their gun, hit them first to distract them from shooting you. You only have so much life to live (Your life is shown top right). To reload, fire at the gun in the bottom right. You can't reload (as far as I can tell) until your gun is empty.

Play Koala Kombat at ruthe.de.

Cityscape

Cityscape puts you in charge of choosing how to build up your own city. Should you put in education first, or police? Invite the army in to build a base, or promote tourism? It's all up to you.

Cityscape is similar to games like grow cube and grow ornament (and according to jayisgames, was inspired by the grow series). It's more complicated because you have 18 choices to make, but there's a real lack of animation and accomplishment at the end. Getting 60/60 is nice, but a nice graphical show is better.

I'm going to put a walkthrough into the comments, so if you you get stuck, feel free to take a look. I don't think the order is all that intuitive, but have a go at it before you cheat! ;-)

Play Cityscape at crashtodesktop.

Murphy's Law

Murphy's Law puts you in charge of pulling pranks on the father as he tries to get going in the morning. Put wiskey in his cereal, get him to trip on his baby's toy car. Just have some fun. All the directions are in dutch(I think... I can't read it!), so it's hard to see what the whole story line is. It looks like you're a devil in training.

As a side note, I can only get 175, but it says 180 is the maximum. If you go and play and get that 180, I'd appreciate if you left a walkthrough in the comments. Thanks!

Murphy's Law 2 lets you pull some pranks on Santa as he comes to visit your house. I'm wondering if you're going to get coal for Christmas this year!

Smart Stick Adventure 2 1/2

How many ways can you kill your stick man? That probably should have been the title to this little puzzle game. But no, it's just a matter of solving the puzzle by clicking on the various objects in the right order. If you do it in the wrong order, however, you will need to start over (due to the probably bloddy death of your stickman). There's a walkthrough below if you get stuck.

It has a disappointing ending, but just getting past the *!^!$# snake was rewarding, I guess. There's also adventure 1 and 2 to try out. Between them they should be able to keep you busy for a while. These Smart Stick adventures are like Hapland 2 and 3 or samarost, but not as good. The hapland series is certainly harder, while samarost has better graphics. This is more like Puzzleland, although the timing can be trickier.

Play Smart Stick Adventure 2 1/2 at prikedelik.

Walkthrough in case you get stuck:
Level 1:
Click the Click here message
Click on the light green door
Click on the blue trap door on the floor (you won't be able to open it)
Click on the vertical board to your left.
Click on the jet pack
Click on the blue trap door to move your stick man back over.
Click on the jet pack.
Do not click on the lever that is on the upper level.
Click on the second level (the one below you)
Click on this lever to open the trap door.
Click on the trap door. Level 1 will be complete.

Level 2:
Click to your left to move over.
Click on the passage way below you.
Click above the chasm to jump up and hold on. Click immediately to your right, and then again. If you do this too slow, you will fall into the (lava?).
Click to your right and you will see a stairway. A snake will appear at the bottom who will jump at you. Click just below your stick guy to make him duck (need to time this). Click the bottom of the stair well.
When the glowing portal moves to you, click on it to finish level 2.

Grow ornament

Another Grow game, but this time it's a holiday version (and easier). With only 6 choices, you should be able to pick the items in the right order in order to get everything maxed out! If you get stuck, I've posted a walkthrough in the comments.

Samarost 2

Samarost 2 is out and just as much fun as the first samarost. Last time, you had to save your home from the oncoming asteroid. This time, invading aliens have landed on your planetoid, taken some fruit, and then kidnapped your dog! The chase is on!

Samarost is a point and click, solve the puzzle to move on, myst-like game. It's fairly straightforward, and you can't die, so keep clicking and eventually you'll get everything done. If you get stuck, there's a nice walkthrough at BlueTea.

Play Samarost 2 at Samarost2.net

PuzzleLand

Did you like hapland? Then this puzzle game is for you. It may not be stick figure goodness, but it's still in the same vein. Help James Mahoggany beat his arch rival Gregory by clicking on the various objects in the right order. Some clicking is done in the right order, other times, you just have to keep clicking and sometimes it's all about the timing.

Play Puzzleland at fungames.biz.

If you're stuck, you can look at this Puzzleland walkthrough. Level 4 gets harder, but there are only 5 levels. Good luck!

Want to play hapland 2 or hapland 3 instead? Or perhaps you're looking for other games that are similar? Samarost and Samarost 2 are fun.
